I didn't just wear sarees. I built a home for them. I fell in love with sarees at 17. Standing in front of a mirror in Standard 12, draped for the first time — I saw a version of myself I hadn't met yet. 

That feeling never left me. 

But somewhere between loving sarees and living in them, I hit a wall every woman knows. Beautiful silk locked in the almari. Everyday options too boring. Something fresh and fluid and modern — nowhere to be found.

 So I stopped waiting for someone else to fix it.
